Street Glide

The touring motorcycle with a lowered, stripped-down attitude.

The Street Glide Story

Harley-Davidson introduced the FLHX Street Glide in 2006, blending the comfort and utility of the Electra Glide touring platform with a cleaner, lower-profile appearance. Its shortened windshield, streamlined bodywork, and factory-custom stance helped make the bagger an identifiable category of American motorcycle style.

The signature handlebar-mounted batwing fairing, hard saddlebags, and wide touring chassis preserve the Street Glide’s long-haul purpose. Over successive generations, upgraded engines, chassis, electronics, lighting, and infotainment systems changed the technology while retaining that distinctive profile.

For riders who want cross-state capability without losing a stripped-down custom look, the Street Glide stands at the intersection of traditional touring and modern bagger culture.
